My Salt Lake City Summer FUN Plan is a week-by-week plan inspired by my popular post 25 FREE Things to do in Salt Lake City.
This plan has been completely re-written since May 1, 2020 to only include activities that are open and have up-to-date information on their websites. Activities include:
- Hogle Zoo
- Antelope Island
- Utah State Capitol
- Thanksgiving Point
- Family-friendly hikes
Salt Lake City, Utah is my hometown and I love exploring all the fun things there are to do here. One of the best things I did when my kids were younger was schedule weekly summer field trips. I'm sharing my experience in this detailed plan.
The Summer Fun Plan includes 12 weeks of fun family activities, plus a list of state parks and regional parks, as well as other resources to help you plan a fun summer close to home.
COVID-19 has kept our kids home from school since March and limited our travel plans and activities. Health and sanitation is an important consideration every time we leave the house.
The good news is that Salt Lake City offers an abundance of fun places where we can get away from the same four walls and still maintain social distance. Local travel is still travel, and there has never been a better time to build a stronger, smarter and happier family.
