Did you know?
Tips for Family Trips donates a portion of its earnings every month to charity. So many people are in need throughout the world, I wanted to do something to help.
Every time you make a purchase through links in Tips for Family Trips' posts, emails or social media, I donate a portion of the sales commission to the International Rescue Committee. You pay nothing extra, but it helps people in need. It's exciting to see how quickly small donations add up!
With the help of readers and followers, Tips for Family Trips has donated $2,553 to the International Rescue Committee since 2016. The most recent donation was in March 2019.
These donations help house refugees, rescue families from dangerous situations, feed people in famine-stricken areas, send children to school, and provide immunizations. Special donations were made to the American Red Cross to aid communities devastated by natural disasters in 2017 and 2018.
The International Rescue Committee is the charity that Tips for Family Trips' readers have chosen because there are more refugees in desperate need today than at any time since World War II. I like the IRC because of their strong reputation and commitment to keeping administrative costs low while consistently improving services around the world. Ninety-three percent of every donation goes directly to people in need.
