Hello!
A few newsletters ago, I invited our subscribers to send me their book recommendations. Lindsay Nieminen quickly stepped up with a list of her favorite books! It's a fun and diverse list full of page turners for adults and children. There are a few on this list that are new to me. I look forward to finding some new favorites!
Lindsay is the editor of Carpe Diem OUR Way at www.carpediemourway.com. She is a travel-loving wife and mom to two little boys, a full time professional, a photographer, a soccer player, a book worm, a wine enthusiast, a lover of learning and is trying to live life to the fullest with her family! Lindsay lives in British Columbia.
I read just about anything. I love books in a series, I love getting caught up in the characters and reading book after book. Many of my book recommendations have more than one in a series or overlapping characters! I love that my boys are just about big enough to start reading my favourite children's chapter books to and hope they will love reading just as much as I do!
I credit my love of reading in my adult life to my Mother-in-Law. Before kids we would constantly discuss what we were reading, we would lay out in the sun in the backyard and read the same books and discuss our favourite parts and characters. She was the one who introduced me to Diana Gabaldon about 8 years ago, and I read the series over and over!
